It begins with needle inventory pages for your straights, circulars and DPN's (US sizes on the front, mm sizes on the back) and then moves into favorite socks yarns (size needles you used and what your gauge was), stats for favorite sock recipients of yours (what size foot do they have? fibers they like/dislike?), favorite sock patterns (what book was that in? Page number?), favorite yarn stores and websites, favorite blogs and podcasts, etc. Now you have a place to keep all of the information that you have gathered on scraps of paper and index cards in the past.
