This beautiful pattern was designed by Robyn Diliberto of Make One. Faroese Shawls consiste of a trapezoid shaped center back panel (gusset) with right angle triangle side-panels and feature shoulder shaping, keeping the shawl from sliding off when worn. Charts included.

Yarn: approx. 1000 yards of sportweight yarn (6 st/in)

Needle: US 7 (4.5 mm) circular, 29" or longer (or size needed to obtain gauge), plus size 5 or 6 circular for finishing the neckband.
