This special sock yarn is a combination of 80% Superwash Merino and 20% New Zealand Possum. Cherry Tree Hill has this warm blend custom-spun whenever the mills have enough to work with. Sometimes once a year, sometimes less often.

New Zealand Possums endanger native trees, plants, and birdlife in their country. They are captured by park rangers in New Zealand's National Parks and Conservation Land. They are distantly related to US Possums and look very different. Please Google New Zealand Possums if you'd like more information on these pesky animals!

You will need 2 skeins for 1 pair of socks.
