2012 First Quarter Challenge

The first quarter challenge is to knit a project with yarn that contains some silk in it. (See this blog post for details: http://www.theloopyewe.com/sheri/2011/12/herman-the-name-made-all-the-difference) Silk adds that little bit of extra to a project - extra warmth, extra sheen, extra glam!

2012 Fourth Quarter Challenge

This quarter's challenge is to knit a 400+ yard project with two strands of yarn held together. Projects (and completed photos) are due 12/31/12!

2012 Second Quarter Challenge

The Challenge this quarter was to knit an adult sweater, vest or socks with a yarn that contained cotton. Perfect for warmer weather!

2013 First Quarter Challenge

This quarter our challenge was to knit a one-skein project that had cables somewhere in the pattern!

2013 Second Quarter Challenge

Our challenge this quarter was to use two colors of yarn, 500 yards total or less. Your pattern needs to mix the colors with stranded work (so just doing solid stripes doesn’t count).

Camp Loopy 2012 Project One

For our first month of Camp (5/27-6/27), we are knitting projects that have a minimum of 400 yards and choosing patterns from a designer that was born in (or lives in) a country other than our own!

For our third month of Camp (7/27-8/27), we are knitting projects that have a minimum of 500 yards that includes two colors, and is a pattern that we've not knit before.

Dream in Color Baby KAL

Our second Knit-A-Long challenge was to knit something out of Dream in Color's wonderful Laceweight yarn called Baby!
