The first quarter challenge is to knit a project with yarn that contains some silk in it. (See this blog post for details: http://www.theloopyewe.com/sheri/2011/12/herman-the-name-made-all-the-difference) Silk adds that little bit of extra to a project - extra warmth, extra sheen, extra glam!

This quarter's challenge is to knit a 400+ yard project with two strands of yarn held together. Projects (and completed photos) are due 12/31/12!

The Challenge this quarter was to knit an adult sweater, vest or socks with a yarn that contained cotton. Perfect for warmer weather!

This quarter our challenge was to knit a one-skein project that had cables somewhere in the pattern!

Our challenge this quarter was to use two colors of yarn, 500 yards total or less. Your pattern needs to mix the colors with stranded work (so just doing solid stripes doesn’t count).

For our first month of Camp (5/27-6/27), we are knitting projects that have a minimum of 400 yards and choosing patterns from a designer that was born in (or lives in) a country other than our own!

For our third month of Camp (7/27-8/27), we are knitting projects that have a minimum of 500 yards that includes two colors, and is a pattern that we've not knit before.

This month, the project needed to use a color from your the flag of your country, and it needed to be at least 800 yards, single worked.

Our second Knit-A-Long challenge was to knit something out of Dream in Color's wonderful Laceweight yarn called Baby!

We're knitting sweaters out of Dream in Color Classy yarn - come join us! Simply pick the pattern you'd like to use with your Dream in Color Classy yarn, and photo the finished product for this photo gallery by June 1st. We'll have prizes!
