The pattern I used was "Travel Shawl" by Veronique Avery, from the book "Knitting 24/7". It called for 1050 yards of yarn. I used 3.5 skeins of String Theory Merino DK, which by my calculations was 988 yards of yarn. I thoroughtly enjoyed this pattern and yarn and am delighted with the FO. It was tough to get a good photo of it, nothing I snapped seemed to do justice to the beautiful Cedar colorway in this yarn.
