At first I wasn't sure if combining Susanna IC's Annis pattern (free at knitty.com) with this Shibui Silk Cloud yarn was going to be a good idea, but I love the results! It used most of one skein to produce this good-sized very ethereal shawlette.

The pattern starts off with some looooong lace rows and builds up to some purl-7-together nupps, so the first bit required concentration (read: not TV knitting). It was smooth sailing once I got to the stockinette portion though.

"Cloud" is a very appropriate name for this yarn. If I was going to attempt to knit a cloud, I would choose this stuff. :)
