I love the sock you are making out of the Schaefer Lola “singing the blues” colorway
Very very pretty colors.

What pattern are you using for the sock? And are you using a #3 for needles with that yarn? I would love to order that pattern.

Favorite SweetGeorgia colorway? Tough question but I have to say after receiving my first ones in the mail today I’m really drawn to the good old solid(ish) purple called ‘Viola’. Maybe it is because I’ve been dreaming about purple and I had a vision in my head of the exact shade I wanted and Viola is it. It is really nice in person though. (See how I have animated my yarn stash to human status?) Havind said that, some of the varigated are really looking good to me…like Fondant. It is just a candy store waiting to happen! Chinois is also pretty hard to stop looking at.

You know what else looks awesome in person is Claudia’s ‘Roasted Chilies’. It really, really does remind me of fire roasted chili peppers with the little dark flecks in it. Way cool stuff! I bet it would look awesome in some modular design like a vest or something. Use the same yarn in all squares of some modular thingy. I may have to try that.

Sheri-Do you have a favorite Sport weight pattern? Most patterns seem to be written in fingering weight. I love the Sweet Georgia colors. Are they as vibrant as the photos?

Ah, new yarn. I just can’t stay away from The Loopy Ewe! I love my Celtic Swan needles (ha! I have some and you don’t! seriously, you’ll love them when you get ‘em) and now I’ve ordered some Sweet Georgia yarn. Can’t have too much sock yarn – ever! Thanks for bringing us the fun and the unusual and the beautiful!

I would buy Loopy on stuff. Tee shirt, mug, tote bag…can’t wait to see what you come up with!

ack! I can’t believe I won. I never win anything, well I guess I can no longer say that. Now to make a decision on just one – hmmm? I’m so happy that Felicia’s stuff is now available through other vendors. It was so hard getting the goods at times because she would sell out so quickly – I did miss out often.

Cafe press might work if you want loopy on a few items. You don’t make much money off them but it saves much if you don’t want all that min. order stuff. to deal with.

I like the color Chinois…mostly because I am, too (Chinese, that is).

I love your blog–found your store from Wendy Knits, which led to the blog. I’m happy to find a source for handpainted sock yarn in St. Louis, which means whenever I get around to buying from you, I’d probably get the yarn the next day. For now, though, I ought to get through stuff I already have. I know sock yarn doesn’t count as stash, but I can’t let it get too ridiculous.
