gorgeous socks, Miss Sheri! They are really beautiful. Blue is right at the top of my favorite colors too. (used to be my favorite one, but then I started dyeing and it was too hard to choose just one favorite!) Kudos to your Sockret pal!

Just wanted you to know that I had to make that salad tonight. It was delicious! I halved the recipe, added a mixture of raisins and dried cherries (all that i had) and almonds. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing .

I spend entirely too much time reading blogs therse days. It keeps getting me hooked on other things. Like socks. And lace. And…

I’m in on the charity thing too. My daughter’s best friend is a girl my college friend adopted from China so I’ll make a baby hat. You might want to check into color issues. I know some colors are unlucky and some are lucky and so on. I’m just not certain which are which. After I’ve done a hat I’ll hunt up some washable stuff for mitts since I think that sounds like a great cause too.

I know what you mean about the cold weather, although I don’t think anyone but knitters are thankful for it. I finished the Cider Moon Sweet Loretta hat in Silver Pine and even had enough yarn for a matching pair of mittens, and believe me, I’m thankful to have them to put on this weekend. They look wonderul. I love that yarn!

I saw your Sockret Pal socks on Rebecca’s blog awhile back and wondered if we would see them on here. I found her through the Irish Hiking Scarf KAL and have followed her blog since then. I love the rantogether comments you leave at the bottom of your posts and I am very good at losing track of time while surfing knitting blogs.

Oh yeah, it gets way toooo late when I start with the blogs and THEN I see sweaters and socks I want to do and I start planning those and checking out yarn and prices…. too stupid to look up at the clock sometimes, but mostly, I really, really love the absolute quiet at late night times. It is like I am the only one up in the whole world!!
Love the challange, will work on that and the salad looks great as well.

Sheri, thx for the update. I’ve finished my hat and have started another one. ;D I’ll add toddler sizes to my plans too and make sure my yarn is “easy care” though I believe they are.

Salad recipe sounds delicious especially at this time of the year.

Your last line ~ was hilarious and yes, I have had this happen to me on my than one occassion. LOL
