Hi, Sheri!! I think it's FANTASTIC that WG can get credit for working on your site. You guys should try to use Zen Cart. It's free, it's EASY and it has great support on their forums. I did my soap site using that and it is very easy to manage on the back end of things and on the designing end. I'm not sure what you use now...but I know that ZC has made life easier for MANY people.

I'm open to discuss if he'd like. Just drop me a note!

Ciao for now!

currently on the sticks is Stillwater Socks in Fleece Artist's Blue Lagoon. Really coming out beautifully and the colorway looks exactly like dappled sunlight on water and a tiny bit of seaweed floating in the colors, too. It is really beautiful!

Loopy should come to maine in the summertime...in the winter he'd just blend in with the snow!

Those donut puffs look really yummy...how is it that you're all so thin?

I have several socks OTN: Regia Cotton Surf-plain jane socks for nieces October birthday, Trekking/shades of black/grey- ankle socks for son's July birthday,Lorna's/Tahoe- for me in a design by my sister Monica, Regia/Red-Black-Natural- for me using the Edelweiss pattern from Vogue Knitting, Panda Cotton/Seascapes-Menehume Cobblestones pattern.
I love the new pins! I seem to have a knack to go look at TLE's web site sometimes, out of the clear blue, & lo & behold--there they were! Some of them remind me of some English/Scottish quilt pins that I had when I used to wear kilts to school some back in early college years, etc. And, there are more modern ones, too! I like the fact that you can choose from silver or copper. And, I am really glad to have been able to get one to hold stoles or shawls or shrugs or scarves, or whatever!

And, please tell Web Guy that I really do love both his new 2-column setup in the What's New part, as well as the ability to link from the picture in my shopping cart to the actual page for the item so I can double-check colors or specs, or whatever. That was really fast service in making requested changes to the web site! Many thanks to Web Guy for a job well done!

I love the new two column set-up, too, especially since my computer seems to get awfully slow when the site is busy.
I completed CM Glacier socks in the June Carter colourway for my daughter (size 10 feet) this morning. She adores them and they were done so quickly with the sport weight yarn. Now I've begun CM Icicle socks in Lost for my husband for Father's Day (I hope) and I'm loving the way the colours are unfolding so far, and also the texture of this yarn. Can you tell I've really gotten hooked on Cider Moon yarn? Gail and Jacki certainly have a way with colour and the yarn bases are amazing, too.
Thanks for the doughnut recipe, but no doughnuts for me today. It's my third daughter's ninth birthday today, so I just made a Devil's Food cake and am about to ice it. We'll be indulging in that tonight!

I love the "what's new" display! Much easier and more can be see at one time! Hurray!
I would love to see a wish list feature. It would be wonderful to be able to pick out stuff I love so that people will know what to gift me on certain occations. It would be super cool if one could add out of stock items to said wish list as well! :)
I need to place an order today, my medium sock blockers are back in stick! Woot!

I second most of the other suggestions that have already been made, especially the one about being able to click back on a yarn already in the shopping cart---sometimes I get distracted and don't remember if it's a "1-skein-per-pair" or a "2-skeins-per-pair" yarn. And one doesn't want to waste valuable time in the middle of a sneak up!

On the needles, a pair of Panda cotton socks that were going to be plain vanilla socks until I decided to throw a little lace in there. So now they are going slowly because they are not mindless knitting any more. (And I do get distracted...) There are also the socks for the husband in PBTLE (Purchased Before The Loopy Ewe) yarn; right now it's so hot that he's not impatiently waiting for them, but I need to get them finished to free up the needles.

The doughnut puffs sound really good, unfortunately the essential ingredients aren't available over here!

On the needles oh, this is very scary. I have a serious problem with castonitis. I make both of my socks at the same time so I don't suffer from the dreaded second sock syndrome. I have the worse habit going, that is to get to the middle of the feet and then cast on again. Currently working on Cl pepermint mocha. Love the yarn. To many projects to mention. Web Guy has done a fabulous job the site keeps getting better and better. Favorite Socks is a great book.
