BTW since all the Wollmeise yarn kinda stripes I’m not so sure how right it is for any of Cookie’s patterns besides Monkey. So you might want to pick a different “challenge”

What are you doing too me??!!!! I just took a peek at the new yarn and all I got to say is thank Gosh tomorow is payday!!!! I am going to need a raise so that I ‘ll be able to add to my yarn stash. There are so many pretty skeins that it is so hard to choose from.
Good to know that when I go to my knittig group tomorrow that I can have my pumpkin spice frapp. :0)

I’ve never had a PSL but I love the White Chocolate Mocha…and I’d have it twice a day if I could. How do you control yourself with all that yarn around you all the time? Your a stronger woman than me.

I failed my Q3 challenge. I started socks toe-up, and once again when it came to the heel nothing went right. This is my third try with a third different pattern. I think I just have to accept myself the way I am, as a top-down girl.

And my dog is the biggest chicken ever!

Cookie has a couple of free patterns on Knitty. One is Monkey Socks, which was my first EVER pair of socks that I knitted (does that count for the Q3 Challenge?). She also has a pattern called Hedera on an older issue. What I like about Cookie’s patterns is that you just do exactly what she tells you – they’re very well written. If even a beginner like myself can pull off a pair of Monkey Socks, that’s a testament to the pattern writer!
