If it's a million degrees here in Chicago, I know it's 2 million in St. Louis. Poor Sheri! My pile of Loopy yarny goodness has finally gotten to me, and socks are in progress. Because even though you can cut the humidity with a knife out there, snow is just around the corner.

Socks are such great summer knitting, aren't they? Much better than that afghan I need to start. Anyway, one question for you...have a couple of friends with a wool allergy and wondering if you're going to be carrying more stuff that's wool-free? Maizy, for example?

And thank you so much for Duets!! I'm completely and ridiculously addicted. Or is that a sub-addiction to the sock yarn dependency?

Pretty pretty socks!

You're not alone...when we got back from Colorado (gotta love the mountains!) and from California (gotta love the central coast...it was FREEZING!), I kept wondering "Why do we live in Texas??" But we just got a brand new A/C last week, because apparently the one that came with our house wasn't big enough for the house... this is much more comfortable!

And I just got my Loopy Groupie care package the other day... thank you so much! You are so fantastic!

Love the new socks, Sheri - Who woulda thunk that "Easter Basket" would be fall colors? HA! Okay, I am really salivating over the new lines of yarn coming in soon, as well as some of the "regulars" that will be back in stock...I am afraid one of these days my hubby is going to say that "I" need an intervention for my sock yarn addiction!! I am also salivating over the vague descriptions of the sock club packages...I didn't find Loopy Ewe in time to get in on this year's club, but that is on the top of my agenda for next year for sure - Can't wait!

It is HOT, HOT, HOT here is southeast Texas as well - especially when you factor in the humidity...YUCK! Although we had an unusually cool and wet May, June and July, I believe August is going to make up for it...Okay, I am ready for fall now...

Sheri, Thank you! Thank you! My sock club pack arrived yesterday. [Happy dance in the kitchen] You are fantastic! Love all the special touches and the yarn and pattern are fabulous. Can't wait to get it on needles. We're sweltering here in SE Mich. too, but relief in store for the weekend - just in time for on-the-patio knitting. Thanks again for all your specialness.

Sheri, Sheri, Sheri,

I'm at a loss for words to say how utterly extreme outstanding is the Fall Sock Club that arrived at my doorstep.

Everything in it is so cool. The yarn is delious for fall.

Well, I'm not going into everything one by one because it might spoil it for someone who hasn't received their kit.

But, IT'S THE GREATEST! LOVE IT!

Ooooh drool! More fun yarn to look for next week. I'm intrigued buy the Step yarn for sure. I've got to get some stuff finished or I'll start to feel guilty about shopping for more yarn. And we can't have that, can we?
