I tend to decorate for fall and winter more than spring and summer. Maybe because I’m staying inside more during the first two?

I have a hutch when you enter our house. I usually decorate it seasonally. I too haven’t decorated much. I think when you get older it doesn’t matter as much. I don’t know why. I do love fall, getting back from vacation I will be getting out my pumpkins & scarecrows this week. Our weather is seasonally cool today, like 62. Mostly like Oregon weather. It does feel good. Making stews this week. Hope you had a great time at college.

WOW!! I shamelessly ordered some Fiesta Boomerang in Sheri’s chevron scarf colors on Tuesday afternoon and thought the package would be mailed out on Monday. Obviously cannot read with understanding. It came today. Is Sheri’s customer service the BEST? Have a fun weekend.

Have fun at Parent’s Weekend!

If the decor you have is not to your liking anymore, but it’s in good shape, you could take it to a local consignment shop to sell and then you can buy more decor (or yarn). Or, some church or group might be interested in those things and you could donate it and get the warm fuzzies for doing so.

I’d be glad to be a Baby Monkey test knitter! My SIL’s baby is having her baby Jan 2 (scheduled C-section) so I have a baby to give them to. Just email me if you still need test knitters.

I agree with Tola…if you don’t like it, pass it along, toss anything that won’t store well, and if you’re on the fence, put it away. I love to rediscover things like that.

A big thanks for the new free patterns! I’m pretty sure something in my Loopy Stash will be perfect for those Firestarters…and if not, time to get something red! Isn’t it funny how we go through color phases? Pink always floats my boat, but I have flirtations with blues and greens…sometimes one, sometimes the other.

if you dont like it anymore, toss it! however, if you have older kids, see if any of them would like it first. i know id be sad if my mum got rid of stuff she didnt realise i loved. just my two cents.

It’s 90 degrees in Texas today too and it looks like it will stay that way for at least another two weeks. I’m still insisting that it’s fall though. I got out my seasonal placemats yesterday and I’m making chili tonight because IT”S FALL!
