I am knitting a pair on size 0 Addi's, and my gauge is 9.5 sts. per inch. In the thick, slubby parts of this yarn, these needles are WAY too small. I'm thinking this yarn is like the real Kureyon---there is allot of variation in weight from skein to skein and even within any given skein. I'm going to knit my next pair on size 2.25mm needles and see how that goes. This yarn is beautiful, as Noro yarns are, but it is definately much different to knit with than a standard four-ply sock yarn, like Opal. I'm also thinking about mittens or a lace scarf with this yarn---I love to knit socks, but some of my favorite colorways are too gorgeous to be hidden away in my shoes. If you could figure out what to use as a solid color, this yarn would be good for fair isle knitting, like Norwegian mittens. What do you think? How are your other customers using it?
