I have a question totally unrelated, I just got an email from Sweet Georgia Yarns saying they are reopening their shop on Friday, and I noticed in the 'Socks on Trees' Photo Gallery there is socks with that yarn there - if they reopen, will TLE be carrying it again? I was guessing that you must have carried it before to have pics of it, so, if I am way off base~ sorry, but i was just asking, b/c you know I will siphon my orders through you if possible, and not go to any other yarn shop!! That's why I ask:) It's all good.... thanks Sheri!! Sincerely, juli

OMG. I think I stood in line with Allen at the Atl. Yarn Harlot event. I wish I had known I was standing next to greatness. Now I feel all dumb. :P And I totally almost picked some of the toasty up in Knitch, my budget said no. :P

To get Numma Numma (my favorite yarn) or be good and wait to buy stuff at the Fling. Now that is a hard choice!

Love the interview! I love the colors I hav a few in my wishlist only because i may cause a loopy heart attack if i add any more numma numma to the list. I love your colors. What a great way to be able to have the best of both worlds, creativity business and girls. I so understand my 3 are now 20,18&16. And i made and desingned them all dresses similar, often the same dress but different colors. They went blue, purple and rainbow. TG the youngest liked most colors.

Reading about the Elvis sandwich made me laugh and get hungry at the same time, and I just ate breakfast not to lng ago. I had wondered about that colorway alot. I really like it alot just couldnt figure out why it was called elvis. I thought you had a llama named Elvis to be truthful. Gee too much imagination.

I love reading. My daughter says I should ty Harry Potter after you get into the middle of book one it gets good. When she gets her boxed set for her birthday I might try that. WE are both into fantasy fairies and such. Kinda fun. My other daughters say freaky our mom loves hard rock, loves to go dancing and loves gothic. That is only one side of me. Then i love romantic, renaissance and flowing materials, shawls and such, drums and renaissance fair spinning and such. Sigh!

Sher i take pity on the poor guy, is he new? It sure sounds like it! Doesnt he like chocolate? Cause that bowl of Loopy kisses should soften the blow of actually having to work up a sweat. If he dont like chocolate have one of the elves find out what he loves and have him his own bowl of treats waiting for him every day but Sunday.

Did yuo hear the weather report today high 70's and then cold front and snow by midnight? April weather for sure!

Great interview. I can't wait to meet Allen at the fling. The girls are lucky to grow up in such a fun artistic home.

Wonderful interview! It's great to meet the person behind the yarn label. Your girls are beautiful. Thanks for the book recommendations, too! Though I find it hard to balance knitting and reading, even with audio books.

See you at the Fling!

Another fascinating interview, Loopy! I'm so sorry I won't be at the Fling (don't I say this every time I comment?!) to meet Allen in person and talk about favorite books and movies and Alan Rickman! And, of course, the amazing softness and color complexity of Numma Numma yarn... Thanks so much for introducing Allen to the rest of us.
