Thanks for another fascinating interview, Loopy! I only recently found out that the son of one of my friends has Asperger’s. I think for a long time they put it down to shyness. In any case, he is a very sweet, bright and gifted child.

Great interview and thank you Kris for sharing your life with us. I also have a son on the Austim spectrum. He is considered mild to moderately autistic. He has a very limited vocabulary and very little communication skills. He is, however, the sweetest boy on the planet! He is my only child and I never did any babysitting as a child so to me, he seemed normal except that he just wasn’t talking, then I realized once he turned about 2 1/2 that he wasn’t playing with any other children either, so we took him to the Dan Marino center in Weston and he was diagnosed. I am very lucky that I live in Broward County and the school system has amazing “cluster” programs throughout the school districts. These programs are specifically geared toward very young children with Autism. I don’t know how or where he would be without them! Well, I better get back to work. Great interview with Kris. Love the pictures of your pet family. I know what Asperger’s syndrome is, as one of my grandchildren has it. He is also making progress, however it is quite difficult to deal with at times. Love the name Chewy Spaghetti. Sheri, have a nice trip back from very hot Florida, and welcome home. Hugs
