I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend with your son. That’s an awesome photo of him and his friends! Niagara Falls is right in my backyard and I’ve never seen it at sunrise ‘cuz I don’t do sunrise! I am hoping I can catch the wollmeise update. That skein of thriller looks so pretty!

Everything is better with cake (or pie!). I spent so much time baking this weekend that there was almost no knitting time! Yummy!

Loved the cake! My husband said that the chocolate chips made the cake seem not well done. Is that what it is, or did the cake need to be cooked longer? I have never had chocolate chips in a bundt cake before.

Looks like they had a fun time. And yes I remember those days. That is quite a trip for a 4 day weekend.

Eeek, that means Christmas is soon approaching. I’m deliberately staying home to miss out on all the sale candy. I may have to head to Starbucks later to treat myself for such restraint. It’s 70 degrees here (should be way colder then that like cold as in snow on the ground cold) so I think a Caramel Frapp is in order.

I have a box coming in from the sale with new yarn to look forward to. Hope you have a great weekend.
