Ummm, why would you throw out eggs? They don’t need to be refrigerated. At least not as much as people think! Next time, I will come get them from you, especially as they were so beautiful! and I forgot to make any of my own.

I started Cookie A’s Vilai socks in Regia silk. The difficult part is constantly reading the chart. I like to do patterns that I can memorize. Can’t do that with this one. I guess that qualifies as a challenge.

I started my challenge socks on Sunday, and I love them. I was going to do Cable Net socks, but I was not having any success even getting started, so I decided to do Cirque instead, because there’s still a lot of cabling but with a better written pattern. Numma numma the usual is an AWESOME yarn. I can’t wait for Loopy to get more of it!

Yes, I started my challenge socks. They are Wendy’s Garden path toe up socks in DIC smooshy lunar zazzle. These are the first toe-ups I’ve ever done and the first time working off a chart for socks. It’s slow going, but I’m enjoying it so far. It’s proving to be a challenge for me.

I love you Easter eggs, the colors remind me of yarn colors. Yum!

I always hate for my kids to travel in the rain, but its part of life.

Very pretty eggs!! I have to tell you, tho, that when I first glanced at the picture I thought it was an enlarged picture of peanut M&M’s and wondered where all the little M’s were….. One track mind, I guess!!

We had a nice sunny weekend after a week of showers. I think your eggs would’ve been ok..I’ve done the same thing. They were pretty!!!

We did the EXACT SAME THING with the eggs we dyed Friday with our two kids! Oh, I was so mad at myself Saturday morning when I saw them sitting on the dining room table! Oh, well, the kids don’t like hard boiled eggs that much anyway and I doubt my husband and I could have eaten 2 dozen of them without getting awfully sick of them …… Glad the cookies turned out OK!

Sounds like you had a nice time with the kids. Your story about the eggs made me chuckle because I’ve been known to do things like that too. Oh well! My 4 yo dyed eggs with me last week. We kept it to 6 since his attention span is short and I wouldn’t know what to do with too much egg salad!

BTW, I bought some of the Eco Alpaca also from the shop about 3 weeks back, not sure what to do with it yet except pet it!

Hope you had a Happy Easter – we did. Enjoyed the beautiful weather that the Lord provided as well as the wonderful food!

I love rainy days too, but, like you, I had to send my 2 college kids out into it yesterday evening to return to school. One only had 45 minutes to travel, while the other had 2 hours. It was nerve-wracking, but they made it safely, as I hope yours did. Can’t wait till next week.
