I have a house in Silverthorne. It is so wonderful. Can’t wait to get there this summer. I love going to The Yarn Studio in Minturn. Kathy is fabulous like you Sherri. Enjoy the mountains & the cool weather.

It is true that one adjusts to the altitude usually in a matter of days. I used to be the manager of the gift shop in the Summit House on top of Pikes Peak and tourists were always curious about how we handled being up there every day – it’s a simple matter of acclimation. I am planning to return to Colorado for my daughter’s graduation from the University of Northern Colorado in December and am already daydreaming about visiting Needleworks in Old Colorado City, The Stitchin’ Den in Estes Park, My Sister Knits in Fort Collins, and Woolen Treasures in Loveland. I have 6 days to fit all that in along with graduation festivities and checking on the house we own in Colorado Springs!

Glad you’re having a good time. I’m not much of a shopper but that little yellow house is cute. I grew up in a 1785 Colonial, so I LOVE old buildings.
