WOW – all the new Groupies – SO many creative, handcrafting people out there – even those who aren’t official groupies …yet. Nice to see so many from Penna! Makes you feel good knowing so many are knitting / crocheting. It’s carrying on old tradiions with new yarns and patterns. Wonder what the women of centuries ago would think of the yarns, new needles and patterns? Wonder if they had KALs – guess the Moms did with older daughters – don’t know – anyone into knitting history over the centuries – any books anyone can recommend? I know there are lots of quilt museums – especially in Lancaster Co, PA – but where are the knitting museums? Has much survived?

Re- Loopy: bless Loopy’s little heart – the cute little thing’s been more places than I’ve dreamed of seeing! Was fun seeing all the pix.

I’m also not going to make the Oct. 1 deadline on the Girasole—not enough knitting time right now—but I’m loving every minute that I do get to work on it, and I’m definitely going to finish it someday!
