I have always wanted to join a Sock Club but never found one that sounded “just right” until I saw this one. I’m thrilled that I was one of the lucky winners and look forward to upcoming months. This is my “Year of the Socks” and everyone from babies on up are getting socks for gifts so it seems perfectly logical to get involved with something so fun!! Thanks so much!

I really hope I get into the sock club this year. It has already been such a bad year with the loss of our little cat, Motorboat, on January 4th, it would be so nice to have this to look forward to. So I am praying to the sock fairy to let me in thie year.

I made 2 of the collonade shawls. It’s a great pattern. As a matter of fact I really like all of Stephen West’s patterns. One I made for a friend with Uterine Cancer and the other for another friend. I finallly have my sweater ready to go. Originally bought sweater quantity at Stitches East and when I swatched the contrast color I realized that although beautiful it wasn’t the right color for the project. So after considerable deliberation, I bought 3 more skeins from Sheri in a colorway that will compliment the pattern. It’s a top down sweater, so as soon as it comes I’ll be ready to go. I can’t wait. I also have sweater quantity for 2 wollmeise sweaters in fair isle in the drops patterns. So we’ll see what time allows.

The theme “Celebrations” sounds like such fun and I bet the socks will all be gorgeous. I love being around exciting, creative and energetic people and I can tell this will be fun. Here’s hoping I will be a lucky loopy this year!
