Dallas just had 12.5 inches of dusting, with accumulations up to 2″ yesterday. Pretty, but we don’t have snow plows here

Um … about that snowstorm…
I went to bed last night expecting major accumulations. The local University was closed, the grocery stores, well best not to talk about it. When I looked out the window this morning, we had gotten about 1/2 inch. No extra knitting time for me!

How many WIPs is too many? Well, I have 2 pairs of socks, a shawl and 2 sweaters that I can think of off the top of my head. Obviously, I’m a bit behind on starting projects.

I’m a slow knitter, so if I have more than 2 socks and a shawl on the needles, I get discouraged with my imperceptible progress. I agree with you about the Juniper sock yarn. It’s so squishy soft and the colors are amazing. I’m using Cherry Tart at the moment and don’t want to be done with the socks I’m making with it.

I don’t know how many socks are too many but the owner of yarn shop where I work and hang out wanted to add a “what’s on your needles” article to newsletter. So she asked the 5 staff members this question. We had so many projects that she had to make a website page with a link in the newsletter. She said we had a sickness.
When you started receiving soggy boxes at Loopy Central, you’ll know what happened to the snow we sent.

Maybe you can never have too many socks on needles. I have so many socks on needles I have to buy more needles to start more socks!

I always have about 6 socks on the needles at any given time- I like a bit of variety in my life. And hey- as long as I occasionally finish one, no harm no foul, right?

I agree with Ronni. As long as you’ve got needles to keep them on, you don’t have too many pairs of socks going! They’re predicting Snowmageddon here as well, but no one is holding their breath.
