Shurtu’gal … I’m trying to jump on that band wagon, but I’m not feeling the love for all the twisted stiches. My latest attempt seems to have morphed into a plain ribbed sock. Or, it could still turn into a Shurtu’gal, just with a deeper cuff. The mystery of knitting … what will happen next?

Oh my gosh, Sheri, your Shur’tagal is just gorgeous!! Didn’t you love knitting it? I think it’s a great pattern. I just joined her Bloodlines sock club. Not only did she design the patterns, she also dyed the yarn! My first installment should arrive any day (I’m getting a little anxious . . . it shipped over two weeks ago from England). I’ll keep you posted.

I made a pair of Anne Hanson’s Hayrick socks out of the Bugga Smaller Yellow Ant and people went “NUTS” for them. The yarn REALLY makes your stitch work “POP” so your work looks amazing
