Whew – it has been STORMING again today. What is up with the weather? Seems like we had our snowiest winter ever, and now there have been more rain storms and tornadoes this spring than I remember in the past, too. The electricity has already blinked on and off once. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the storm passes quickly. I’m a big fan of thunderstorms, but I don’t like any storms that bring high winds. Did you get storms today?

We do have lots of wonderful choices for you in today’s Update!  Just up, you’ll find:

Madelinetosh DK - re-stocked in 24 colors, bringing our total to 45 (and shown here in Black Currant). This has been a popular yarn for sweaters. You might check out GoodaleStreamside or Tidal, all by Cecily Glowik MacDonald. Cute short-sleeved sweaters, perfect for summer.

The Sanguine Gryphon Bugga – Our monthly shipment, with plenty of beautiful colors for you. How about a quick and easy one-skein shawl? Try the Multnomah by Kate Elsa or the Demiluna Shawl by Lhevinne Amor.

Team Spirit - We have your favorite team color combinations all stocked up again (shown here in Navy and White). These two-color skeins knit up as mini-stripes when used for socks. You can see my red and white one, here. We also have solid skeins that match the colors, in case you want solid toes and heels or a solid border on your scarf.

Claudia Hand Painted - I know – you’ve been waiting for us to re-stock the Claudia. It’s here! They continue to come up with some of our favorite color combinations. These are 45 g. skeins, so you’ll need two for a pair of socks (or for a shawlette). Try it in the Mad Color Weave pattern, by Tina Lorin.

Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock - Do you need some Boogie Earbuds? Because we just got in the Rainbow color and I think it would look great with that pattern. Or in Wendy Dayus’ Lace Cowl. Or socks, of course!

And because you’ll need new bags for all of those new projects, we’ve added in the Original and Large Quick Draw bags from Chic-A (shown here in Silver Cherries). Bright, cute, and reversible.

I’ve been working away on a fun pattern using Three Irish Girls Glenhaven Cashmerino Worsted, but I got a new skein of something else from one of my yarn reps today, and I think I need to cast it on. Hoping to have this new line in a week or two, so I’ll fill you in as soon as it’s here! (Then back to my Glenhaven project. That might be THE most luscious yarn to knit with, ever. Loving it.)
