I am making the Scarf-That-is-Never-Meant-to-Be. The yarn I ordered from LE walked off my porch (into the sunset) nevermore to be seen. The second order arrived and I finally started June 18. Friday, June 24, I sat outside and knit with work friends at lunch, packed up, went inside and realized by Monday, June 27 that my knitting - I had the balls of yarn - project was well and truly lost. I dithered around looking for another project and then on Friday, July 1 an intern from the office asked another knitter if she left her project on the table outside. We ran out and there it was!!!! It was all safe and clean (sort of), but there were a lot of what looked like short, wirey animal hairs in the knitting! I pulled them out, washed my desk, my hands and the knitting, dried it in the sunlight and am almost finished. Now all I have to do is take a picture and figure out how to upload...wish me luck...

Just like me: got all excited, ordered my yarn, checked the mailbox ten times a day until it arrived, and then finally got to knitting at every available moment. THEN I didn't like the way my Daybreak was progressing (turns out I misread the pattern - go figure!). So, I started over again with the Madelinetosh Tosh Sock (February's sock club "Midnight Rendezvous"- Oooo, what yummy yarn!!) I teamed it up with the Loopy Ewe Solid Series black. I am loving how my Daybreak II is turning out!! I didn't even tumble to all of the fun on-line stuff until tonight!BTW, which cabin was for those of us with ADHD?
