I swear that the first of the year brings a new round of startitis to the front. I have already cast on for a sweater (and it isn’t even the Q1 challenge). There must be something in the air!

I download audible books into my iPod and have for the past 6 years or so. I listen to books while I knit ALL the time. I also listen when I do housework, pick raspberries in summer, and quilt. Books may be downloaded free from your public library, but I get mine from audible.com. I have listened to over 300 books, and finished a lot of knitting!

Since this is supposed to be my year to knit out my stash, I will do the challenge using some Cherry Tree Hill silk hand paint that I bought at Stitches Midwest in 2006 or 2007. It will serve toward meeting two of my 2012 goals: knit down my stash and finish or frog all UFO’s

I use the Kindle PC app on the laptop and knit stockinette projects at the same time. Doesn’t happen often.

Absolutely knit & read at the same time!! All the time!! Except for the past couple days as I was cranking (& cranky) trying to finish the edging on Leaves of Grass for the 4th Quarter Challenge… I resolve to manage my time better in 2011

Oh, what a lovely update!! I want everything!

I can knit and read at the same time if it’s an easy pattern, I re-read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer last month while knitting Salene. It helps to have an ereader for this so you don’t have to worry about holding a book open.

I agree with the audiobooks suggestion! I just started listening to Lost In Shangri La today and need to get through the audiobooks I have loaded…at least there are fewer in that queue than in my Rav yarn stash!
