Lots of fun things added to the website in tonight’s Monday Update. We have:

Camp Loopy T-Shirts! Our 2012 Camp logo looks so cute on the t-shirts. We have them in sizes Small through 3XL and you’ll find them in the Accessories section under The Loopy Ewe. (Modeled here by Elf Emily.) That’s also where you’ll find the Camp tumblers, if you haven’t gotten one of those yet.

Cascade Ultra – Pima Fine. A few of the colors that were backordered when the original order came in. You’ll now find Buff, White, Yellow Rose and Zen Green added to the batch of 40+ colors we put up a couple of weeks ago.

Skein – Merino Cashmere. We order this all the way from Australia and Kristen does an amazing job with her colors. This is a hand wash yarn, so use it for cowls, scarves, shawls and mitts that you won’t mind washing carefully. It is SO soft and wonderful. 80% merino and 20% cashmere. (Shown here in Gingko).

Dragonfly Fibers – Djinni Sock. Speaking of soft and wonderful, we have a new batch of Kate’s 80/10/10 base in stock (superwash/cashmere/nylon). This fingering weight makes luscious socks, but we also have a lot of people using it for shawls and scarves, too. Try it in the Aquaphobia Socks (linked below). That will really mix up the colors well.

Shalimar – Breathless. I blogged about theĀ Color Affection Shawl I made with this yarn last week, and mentioned then that it’s one of my new favorite fingering weight yarn bases. With 75% superwash merino, 15% cashmere, and 10% silk, it looks and feels wonderful. (Shown here in Tequila Sunrise). I need to find another two or three color shawl so that I can knit with this again. Although I think the Maudia Socks (linked below) would be a great use of this, too. We also have Shalimar’s Zoe Sock on order and hope to have that for you in a couple of weeks.

Studio June – Sock Luck. I love Jill’s color combinations! Check out Snowy Sky. And Calm, Cool and Collected. And First Frost. Those are a few of my favorites. (Ohhh – and Snowy Spice. That’s the one I’m getting for myself, I think.) The base is a fingering weight in 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon and the skein comes with great yardage – 460 yards. (Shown here in Knit Night. I like the name. I wonder why purples remind Jill of Knit Night?) This is also a great yarn to use with the Aquaphobia Socks pattern.

Need some new pattern ideas? Here are a few that I found and put on my list this week:

Maluka by Bea Schmidt Designs
Semele by Asa Tricosa
Pillars by Lisa Stichweh Designs
Raiun by Kirsten Johnstone
Aquaphobia Socks by Crystal Flanagan
Maudie by General Hogbuffer

Are any of you coming to theĀ Estes Park Wool Market this weekend? We’re only about 45 minutes from there, so pop in and see us before or after! We’re open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 4:30 pm and until 8:30 pm on Thursday nights. (Plus Thursday Nights are Knit Night around here. Join us for that, too!)
