I made this soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for supper tonight. They were both very delish!!! I was very hesitant of the yogurt but……….YUM!

Since it is snowing here we had tomato soup and grilled cheese also but I use sharp cheddar and smoked gouda in the sandwich and a slice of ham or piece of bacon. Might as well go all the way on calories. Back to my knitting, Woodland Walk Shawl using my DIC december yarn for a prayer shawl for a friend.

Yummy~ Love tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. I will have to try your soup- it sounds delicious.
It snowed 3.8 inches at my house on Christmas day! It was beautiful! We don’t get alot of snow in the part of Texas where I live. I know you love the snow! I think it is a perfect time to be around the fireplace and knit!

For grilled cheese sandwiches I first sauté onions and mushrooms. I put mayo on each bread slice, then sweet pickle relish and then the onions & mushrooms and finally cheese (either Monterey Jack or Mozzarella). Grill in butter on both sides. Thanks for this tomato soup recipe. Sounds like a real winner. P.S. My husband is mad about your Congo Bars!!

I love the recipes that you share with us and have to say I have tried a number of them.
Funny thing we had grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup last night. It’s one of my all time favorite on a snowy, cold, winter day which was exactly what it was like here yesterday. ! Next time I will be able to add a new twist to a family favorite.

Can’t wait till next week —— I’m so ready to find out what the First Quarter Challenge is…….. Time for some selfish knitting after all the Christmas knitting. Unless the challenge involves knitting for a baby– been there done that! Come to think of it I got that covered too!
