I'm only halfway through the first of my pair of Aragorn socks, in Dream in Color Smooshy in the Striderish Still Spruce. The traveling twisted stitches in the dark solid colour (and my aged eyeballs) mean I can really only work on this one while the light is good and I'm able to actually pay attention, so these plod along a few rows a day, while several pair of plain stockinette socks get done in between in odd bits of time. Clearly another challenge I won't finish on time, BUT a great pattern that is an actual challenge to knit, that I would not otherwise have likely ever turned my hand to. Thanks again, Sherri! I'll be looking forward to the 2nd quarter tomorrow, and also hoping to get some more done on my lovely Aragorns.

OK I finally decided what I'm going to do. As I already have a beret made out of Madelinetosh Worsted in Filigree, I've just order the Madelinetosh Fingering in Filigree to make a long cowl to go with it. It will be either the Dolphin Cowl: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/my-dolphin-cowl or the To Infinity and Beyond Cowl: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/to-infinity-and-beyond

I have ordered two skeins this week...and received, TY! I won't be using them to make a cabled hat, so rats! I will use stash yarn this time and be prepared for the next challenge. I'm still new to the Loopy Ewe and just heard about Camp Loopy today from CaffeinatedKnitting podcast-episode 12 (2012). I like everything that I've seen and experienced w/the Loopy Ewe.
I am planning on making a Baby Bolero: no sleeves/lg. size
