Raven's Bride The Loopy EweHappy Monday! I had a great Girls’ Weekend and will post a few pictures on Wednesday’s blog. But today, it’s all about the Monday Update. Just up, we added in:

Yarn & Accessories

String Theory Hand Dyed Caper Sock - One of our favorites! This fingering weight yarn is 80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon. There are 400 yards in the skein, and you’ll like using this for socks, shawls, sweaters, scarves, and mittens or gloves. (Shown here in Raven’s Bride.) Need some pattern ideas? Try: Herringbone Rib Socks, BFF Socks, Mila Socks, Green Beryl Shawl, Makai Shawl, Roam Cowl, or the Tiliacaea Shawl.

Loopy Legends - We’re celebrating new Loopy Legends with another batch of special colorways! We have Judy’s Favorite Quilt, Stephanie’s Favorite Home Team, Cheryl’s Michigan Sunrise, Debbie’s Walk on the Beach, Karen’s Bora Bora Retreat, Carol’s Lake Sunset, Tamra’s Day Brightener, and Chrispy’s Razorback Ridge. You will love these gorgeous colors. Congratulations to this latest round of Loopy Legends and their great colorway ideas! Here are some pattern suggestions: Miss Winkle, Sockhead Hat, 22.5 Degrees Scarf, You’re Beautiful shawl, Five by Five Cowl, 28′s Cousin 53 shawl/scarf, or Blackcurrent Shawl.

Pirate The Loopy EweBiscotte & Cie Vintage - A new base for us, this single-ply sport weight yarn is 75% wool, 15% cashmere and 10% silk. You will love working with it! There are 422 yards in the skein, and it would be great for cowls, shawls, scarves and hats. (Shown here in Pirate.) Pattern ideas? Calm Cowl, Wurm Hat, Looped Loop Cowl, Belgian Waffle Boomerang Shawl, Stacked Eyelet Cowl, Lilac Wine Cowl, or Quaker Ridge Shawlette.

Knitter’s Pride - re-stocks in Karbonz in Circulars, DPN’s and Straights.

Fabric & Accessories:

Riley Blake Sidewalks The Loopy EweRiley Blake - Sidewalks Collection, which includes solids, dots, patterns, florals, and cute kids playing in teals, blues, yellows and soft reds. (A few of the bolts shown here.) I think this line would be great for little girl dresses, pillows for home decor, and quilts with a pop. The colors are bright and happy. We’ve been whipping up some pillowcases for shop samples, and now I think I need a whole bunch of new pillowcases. (Because, easy? Yes!) Here’s a link to lots of really cute pillowcase patterns. Some of them are fancier than others, but they all look like a lot of fun.

Birch Firefly The Loopy EweBirch - Fort Firefly Collection, which includes fireflies, tree forts, critters, forests, creeks, and fields in taupes, corals, golds, blues, browns and greens. (A few of the bolts shown here.) All of the fabrics in the Birch line are 100% organic cotton and they’re printed with low impact dyes, which makes them soft and luscious. Great for kids clothes and quilts. We’ve been working on a Birch quilt for a shop sample. I’ll share a photo with you as soon as it’s finished! We used one of the Cluck Cluck Sew patterns for it. I think they work really well with this line.

Have fun shopping, and we’ll get your orders out asap! Don’t forget to take a picture of yourself with your Box of Fun before opening it up. (Details in this blog post.) We’d love to have it in our Box of Fun Photo Gallery and possibly use it in a video about the shop!
