This top-down unisex sock in four sizes features a knit/purl motif which is enhanced by using a yarn that has a bit of sheen. Knits and purls are arranged in the motif to wind up the foot and leg like kites or ribbons in the wind. Sock is easily converted to toe-up construction, as the pattern is vertically reversible and may be resized by using different yarn weights or needles.

Suggested Yarns: Any sock yarn that will knit to correct gauge.

Finished Size: S(M, L, XL), to fit feet measuring up to 7(8.5, 10, 11.5) inches in circumference finished sock measurements = 6(7.5, 9, 10.5) inches

Yarn requirements: 350(400, 450, 500) yds

Gauge: 32 sts and 48 rows = 4" in stockinette

Needles: DPNs size US1 (2.25mm), or size to obtain gauge on smaller needles.
