This soft, lightweight triangle shawl in three sizes (one is a scarf) features a simple overall body stitch with an easy-to-work edging incorporated along each side. It is begun at the point and knitted toward the top edge, which is finished with knit-on picot points. Use of different weight yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in shawl size.

Suggested Yarns: any laceweight yarn with approximately 400 yards per 50 grams

Finished Size: 40(72, 88)"W x 15(27, 33)"L (stretched and blocked)

Yarn Requirements: 300(900, 1200) yards

Gauge: 28 sts and 44 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch (unblocked; fabric will be relaxed)

Needles: size 3US (3.25 mm) 24-inch circular needle or size to obtain correct gauge (a 32-inch needle of the same size may also be desired). Lace needles are highly recommended. size 2US (2.75 mm) 24- or 32-inch circular needle for picot edging
