- All Knitted
This new knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit Olivia the cutie pie monster! Olivia is a fast, super satisfying project that knits up easily on many yarn/needle combinations. Since it takes about 150-180 yards of yarn to knit an Olivia, this is a great stash busting project for all those times you've bought just 1 or 2 balls because something was pretty. This pattern is very addicting and once you knit one Olivia, you will find you want to knit an entire Olivia family!
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: 150-180 yards of "good monster yarn"; yardage needed depends on needle size and yarn type.
Needles: One set of DPN's two to three sizes smaller than normally called for with the yarn type (this creates tight stitches to keep Olivia's innards in). One 36" circular needle in the same size as the DPN's
Notions needed: buttons/plastic safety eyes or scrap yarn for eyes; scarp yarn for belly button; white or off white felt for teeth; stuffing, fabric glue, ribbon, and tutu fabric (optional).
