This is a great pattern for hats and mittens! The hat directions offer either a rolled brim or a ribbed edge. If you have avoided making and wearing mittens because they feel like boxing gloves, you will love these. They are close fitting for better dexterity, and they are much warmer than gloves.

Worsted weight yarn (250 yds. on US #6)

Size: Woman's Medium Hat - 20 inches around Mitten - palm 8 inches around

Suggested yarn: Dream in Color Classy, Fiesta Boomerang, or any fingering weight knit double. (I also made this pattern using Lorna's Laces sportweight and size 6 needles to make the mittens for a woman's size small.)
