Size: 70" across and 30" down center back (blocked).

Yarn: 600 yds light fingering weight yarn. (shawl pictured used 1.25 skeins of Madeline Tosh Merino Light in Oceana colorway).

Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) or size needed for gauge, plus, for cast-on only, US size 8 (5mm) or three sizes larger than the size you use for the shawl. Wendy recommends knitting this shawl back and forth on a circular needle at least 24" long.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1" in stockinette stitch, on smaller needles, unblocked.
