This pattern includes the directions for two adorable hats. Both hats are knit in the round from brim to crown and are suitable for the advanced beginner.

Sizes & Fit Directions are written for Preemie with changes for larger sizes in parentheses as follows: Preemie (Infant, Toddler, Child, Adult)

Hat fits best with at least 1” and up to 3” of negative ease.

Finished Measurements: Depth: 3½ (4½, 5½, 6½, 7½)” Circumference: 10 (12½, 15, 17½, 20)” to fit a head circumference of about 12 (14½, 17, 19½, 22)”

Materials Needles: Double pointed needles (or needles appropriate for your preferred method of small circumference circular knitting) and 12” or 16” circular needles in US sizes 8 (5mm) and 6 (4mm) or size required to obtain gauge and two sizes smaller.
