Skid is a fun reversible beanie knit from brim to crown. It features horizontal stockinette stitch stripes on one side and traveling slipped stitches on the other side that gradually skid and spiral around the reverse stockinette background. Minimal amounts of yarn provide the opportunity to play with odd balls of worsted weight yarn.

Sizes: Med (Large) Finished measurements: 19.5" (21)" circumference. The hat can stretch about 3" more to comfortably fit the head.

Yarn: 210 yards of worsted weight yarn (Malabrigo is shown here)

Needles: 1 set of US 6 (4mm) DPN's 1 set of US 7 (4.5mm) DPN's

Gauge: 18 sts = 4" in stockinette stitch using the larger needles
