Kirsten was a child of the 70's, and her best friend's mom, Ida, "embraced" the decorating trends of the time (think avacado, rust, harvest gold, shag carpets, Tab and trim-line phones).

Inspired by Ida's color palette, Kirsten went in search of the yarns for this hat, and with her great color sense, she has created a trendy way to wear them.

Measurements: 20”circumference at brim, will fit up to 24” head, 10” deep

Yarn: Sport weight yarn (she used Blue Sky Alpaca Melange and Sport weight yarns) with approx. 100 yards per 50 g skein.

Color A: Cornflower (aqua blue) - 44 yds/20g Color B: Salsa (brick/rust) - 40 yds/18g Color C: Pesto (dark green) - 40 yds/18g Color D: Pale Aqua - 35 yds/16g Color E: Citron (bright lime green) - 35 yds/16g Color F: Pomegranate (wine) - 22 yds/10g Color G: Dijon (light yellow-green) - 22 yds/10g

Gauge: 21 sts & 28 rows = 4”/10cm on larger needles. in Chevron Pattern, blocked
