Greensleeves Mitts Pattern from Swans Island
Pattern by Michele Rose Orne
When you cross a full length opera glove with a fingerless mitt you get a touch of glam without any pretension. This Greensleeves pattern is knit in a simple allover lace pattern. These extra long mitts can be worked to fit snugly at the upper arm or, as shown, with just a bit of slouch. By simply decreasing needle sizes two times, the changes in gauge achieve the desired tapering shape. Clever, simple and oh so fun!
