This is such a work of art. Custom made and finished by Phil of Custom Wood Designs, and wonderful for Kitchenering toes, sewing together seams, rounding out edges, and displaying on a shelf or in a bowl. We will have different kinds of wood darning eggs as they become available. This wood comes from a tropical tree and is polished to show the natural grain and movement in the wood. Each egg is the same shape and color, but the intricacies differ within the grain.
