This rectangular shawl was inspired by the color and beauty of La Jolla yarn by Baah! Yarns.

The rich texture of the lace pattern reminds one of the butterflies and petals of the gorgeous California poppies bobbing their heads in the summer breeze.

Finished Measurements: Width: approx. 19" Length: approx. 64"

Materials: - Yarn: 2 skeins of Baah! Yarn La Jolla (Fingering weight 4-ply, 100% Merino wool, 400 yards/366 meters per 100 gram skein). Sample shown in California Poppy.

• Needles: Size US 5 (3.75 mm) straight or circular needles. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the gauge desired.

• Notions: Cotton waste yarn, Size G/6 (4.25 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers if desired to mark repeats of the pattern.

• Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
