Yarn: worsted weight wool: 500 yards for cowl, 200 yards for beret
Needles: cowl: US 7 (4.5mm) 24" circular needle cable needle beret: US 6 (4.0mm) 16" circular needle US 6 (4.0mm) DPN's
Gauge: 18 sts and 22 rows = 4" on US 7 needles 20 sts and 26 rows = 4" on US 6 needles
