The Tempt Me Not Stole knit in two pieces, which are grafted together at the end. Each piece starts with a lace edging. From there, stitches are picked up, and the main portion of the body is knit.

The pattern is written up in 3 sizes — from a narrower, more scarf-like stole to a wider, more traditional stole.

Size: Approximately 14(16, 18)" wide, (65, 80, 80)" long, blocked. Sample shown in smallest size.

Materials: Lace weight yarn, 980 yds (4 oz.) Size US3 (3.25mm) knitting needles (or size required to achieve gauge). Tapestry needle, stitch holders.

Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows + 4" in stockinette stitch, unblocked
