A v-neck pullover using the modular knitting technique, perfect for the knitter who enjoys a challenge! With no seams and sleeves which are knit top down, finishing is a breeze. Create a more feminine version by adding a delicate picot edging. Alternate instructions are included for those who prefer to knit the strips individually and assemble with traditional seams.
Instructions for: 0-6 mo, 6-12 mo, 12-24 mo, 2T, 4T Yarn needed: 3 (4,4,5,6) balls (50g) self-patterning sock yarn (MC) 1 (1,1,1,1) balls (50g) self-patterning sock yarn (CC) (50g or a 1 3/4 oz skein = 210m or 229 yds)
Needles: 3 mm circular needles, 16" long, 1 set of 3 mm double pointed needles, 2.5 mm circular needle, 16" long, 2.5 mm circular needle, 24" long, 1 set 2.5 mm double pointed needles Gauge: 30 sts. and 42 rose to 4" (10 cm) over stocking stitch using larger needles.
