Delicate all-over lace shawl with subtle border treatment.

Size: unblocked, 44" across top and 16" down center back blocked, 56" across top and 25" down center back

Yarn: approx. 400 yards of fingering weight yarn.

Needle: Size US 6 (4mm) circular needle, 24"-40" long, or size to obtain gauge. You will also need a needle a couple of sizes larger to work the bind-off row.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1" in stockinette stitch, unblocked. Gauge is not terrible important when knitting lace; however, if gauge is dramatically off, it will affect the size of your shawl and amount of yarn you need.
