Shopping In-Person

Whether you're a Loopy Legend or a first-time knitter, we love the extra privilege of being able to meet you in real life. Our shop has everything that you'd find while browsing online (and a few more things, too). You'll find our shop clean, bright, and organized to make your shopping fun and easy. There are always several elves (fiber-friendly employees) nearby to help you find something or give you some advice – just let us know how we can help!

Frequently Asked Questions

When are you open?

We are open Tuesday thru Saturday opening at 10 am – check our Shop Hours page for current hours.

I need help with a project. Can I come in and have someone look at it?

Absolutely. We know how frustrating it can be to get stuck so we'll do what we can to help you! If it's a quick 15 minute fix, feel free to come in anytime we're open. If you think it'll take longer, we would be happy to schedule a 1 hour private tutoring session with one of our experienced Elves.

I'd love to learn a new technique or build on what I've done already. Do you have classes?

We do! We schedule classes 3 - 4 months at a time and most of them take place Thursday nights and Saturdays, with some exceptions. Check out our current class schedule. If you would like to be notified when the next schedule is released, send us an email and we'll add you to our list.

Our classes range from beginner to advanced and include knitting, crocheting, weaving, and spinning. We list what materials you'll need for the class and the techniques you need to already know on the schedule.

I am visiting Loopy and am bringing some non-knitters and/or kids. What can they do?

We have a couple comfy couches at the front of the shop, but if you're looking for some alternatives then have a look at some of the ideas we came up with for your Knitting Muggles.

Do you mind if my knitting group came to knit on your red couches or back table?

We always love meeting knitters (crocheters, weavers, and spinners too!), but unfortunately we are unable to host groups at our shop. We reserve the red couches for family and friends of shopping knitters and the back table for classes and in store work we need to do. However, you are more than welcome to join us for knit nights every Thursday night!
