Dalarna is done! Pattern is from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road. I modified to fit the recipient's foot better by adding 4 stitches (CO 73, lower ankle and foot circumference 64). The yarn is Regia Silk (wool/silk/nylon blend) in a rich chocolate brown. The cuff has a decorative chain stitch that involves adding another yarn strand for 2 rounds (this results in 6 ends to weave in at the finish). The clock pattern extends down the ankle and foot. This sock knit up more quickly than I expected, I suppose owing to the preponderance of stockinette stitch. Despite all the stockinette, these were fun and interesting to knit. I like the finished product even better than I thought I would.
