Grandma T's Spaghetti and Meatballs from Sheri

This will make your house smell amazingly good, all day long. You'll be so ready for dinner, by the time evening rolls around!

Sauce: 1 large can of tomato juice 1 large can of tomatoes 1 large can tomato paste 1/2 cup sugar 1 stick of margarine 2 Tbl. chili powder 4 Tbl. flour 1 Tbl. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. paprika 4 onions, diced 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Combine in a large pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Turn to low heat and simmer for 3 hours. Keep a constant watch so sauce doesn’t stick to bottom. (Or – put it in a crockpot for the day. Much easier, and you don't have to worry about it burning on the bottom!) Add meatballs (uncooked) to the mix for the last 2 hours, if you're simmering on the stove. For crockpotting, I just put the meatballs in with the sauce in the morning and leave it alone all day.

Meatballs:

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 cup bread or cracker crumbs 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 eggs 1/2 cup oil salt and pepper

Mix well and form into small meatballs. Add to sauce.
