The Thursday Update is ready for you! Today we added in:
The Verdant Gryphon’s Bugga! - Many of you long-time Loopies will remember that we used to carry The Sanguine Gryphon line, until that company dissolved. We’re so happy that Gryphon is dyeing under The Verdant Gryphon name now, and we are happy to have Bugga back! Bugga is a sport weight (although many use it as a heavy fingering weight as well) and is perfect for socks, shawls, sweaters and scarves. It comes 412 yard to the skein and is 70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere and 10% nylon. (Shown here in Owl Moth, Blue Orchard Bee and Juniper Hairstreak.) Pattern ideas:Excess Hat, Judilla Cowl, Andromaque Shawl, Second Skin Armwarmers, Willow Cowl, Pasando Shawl/Hat, and Business Casual Socks.
Loopy Cakes- re-stocks in Whisper and Brrrr. These are fun to use for colorwork, scarves, multi-colored mitts, and more. Shown below in Brrr, Whisper, and Colors of the Year, along with the Loopy Cakes Cowl I did using the Chocolate and Roses set (you can find the free pattern for the Loopy Cakes Cowl on this blog post). In addition to that pattern, you might also try:Ridge and Furrow Scarf, Leftie, Kelpie, Stole, Prisma Loop, and Burano.
Amy Butler’s Hapi line – 24 different fabrics available (a sampling shown here), and we’ve done up two different Loopy Short Stacks for you as well. These big, bold prints are great for clothes, bags, pillows, and as focus fabrics in wall hangings and quilts.
