This fun hat pattern was designed by Laura Linneman for our 2014 Fall Giftables Kit.
This hat uses a combination of lace and texture to create a slouchy fitting hat perfect for gifting or to wear on a chilly fall day. The pattern is named after the quote from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Materials:

1 skein of Shalimar Yarns Breathless DK (270 yards)

US 4 (3.5 mm) 16" circular

US 5 (3.75 mm) 16" circular

US 5 (3.75 mm) DPNs

6 stitch markers with 1 being different
Gauge: 6.5 stitches x 8 rounds per inch in ribbing pattern
Sizes:

Small: 16.5" (42 cm) to fit a 18" (45 cm) circumference

Medium: 18" (45 cm) to fit a 20" (51 cm) circumference

Large: 19.5" (49 cm) to fit a 22" (56 cm) circumference
