Malabrigo has done it again with a beautiful new base. Brisa is a lovely sport weight blend of 60% Merino Wool, 30% Cupro and 10% Silk. What is Cupro you might ask? Cupro, short for cuprammonium rayon, is a semi-synthetic, plant-based fiber made from the tiny, silky fibers (cotton linter) that stick to cotton seeds but are too short to spin on their own into yarn.
The cupro, blended with wool and silk, create a lustrous, soft fiber that drapes beautifully while maintaining shape and warmth. Great for so many projects! Top the blend off with Malabrigo's beautiful colors, and it's winner, winner, cupro dinner!
Please be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each order from Malabrigo can bring color differences beyond our control. Skein colors may vary from bag to bag, and even within a bag sometimes! We will, as always, try to match skeins as closely as possible, but to ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
